NEW SONG with Dale Chambers (Blueboy779): Dale and I wrote the song STAY WITH ME. Check it out.
Check out HOLDING IT IN written with Gary Tucker. Gary co-wrote the lyrics with me, wrote the song, plays the arrangement and sings. He's really talented and I am sure you will enjoy this song!
Also check out ONLY FOR AWHILE. I wrote it based somewhat on my dad. It's how I wish he could have left me...by saying good-bye first. He really did tell me before I walked up the aisle to get married that I am still his daughter and that it's not good-bye...
Another song is NOTHING WITHOUT YOU that is still a work in progress with Vickxxx. I actually like it just like it is, but Vickxxx wants to do more. Take a listen.

The Winding Road song for Eddy Lohn who died December 24, 2005
the arrangement is done by Eddy and by Corey Fish. We were known as the Three Muskateers or the Three Stooges....depending on the ease of the project we were working on.
Please take a listen and hear the lyrics to Eddy's Song on my music page. Eddy Lohn is the person who first introduced me to the ability to make music with others over the internet. He was completely paralyzed due to ALS, but with computer software using voice command, was able to make music. If you notice on most of my songs I have posted here at DMUSIC (not all of Eddy's and my songs are posted here), Eddy Lohn is the one who did the music and the mastering.
He was such a beautiful, positive person and I am still shocked that he is no longer here on Earth. He bought me my recording equipment, software, and had the patience of a saint in teaching me to think digitally and not in analog.
Please take a moment and listen. I mean what I sing.
Thanks

The anniversary of my Dad's death is coming up...February 1st. Thanks to all of you who have been there for me before and since he died. I have written some lyrics that I would like to turn into a song:
When I was on the stage
my dad would sit and stare
at his little girl before him
with the spotlight in her hair
He was always on the front row
a smile upon his face
and when the show was over
I'd feel the pride in his embrace.
The one promise that I'd made him
I never will forget
and if I'd only tried much harder
there'd be nothing to regret.
chorus:
a 1955 with white wall tires, the color powder blue
El Dorado, power top and automatic, too.
Dad...I wanted this for you.
The years flew quickly by
and I got lazy in my ways
'Cause I took our time for granted
Every night and all my days
Some things you can't imagine
so you think they'll never be
I never thought that death would take
my dad away from me.
*chorus*
I didn't get to say goodbye
or sing him my first hit
as long as I am breathing
I know I never will forget
I promised him...
*chorus*
